Being a hostel boarder ,I always had the call from my tummy to have some spicy snacks as soon as the sun is all set to vanish for the day.
As a true momo lover I always did justice to them, when I think of momos, the aroma of that steam pull me towards the ever tasty momos of MOMO GHAR.

Founded by Mr. Tapan Kr. Barua in 1991 , later shifted to Momo Ghar, Ambari in 1994. This was the first momo restaurant in Assam. originally known as “Pirish” পিয়লা পিৰীছ..The concept of momo was brought from Shillong , Meghalaya. However later on it was improvised to suite the Assamese taste. Momo Ghar has now become a culture.

 Assamese Momo is a household name today and have a very special place in the heart of every assamese.

The best thing about Momo Ghar is that even after having a crowded population of customers  they don't consume much time while serving with an affordable price, and if you have that hungry craving scene going on inside your stomach you will definitely love to be there.
