Birthdays are indeed special..!!
Its 12th of the 11th month of the year and like every year I was eagerly waiting for the same . 2017 November it was.Like every year even this November was special. Because this time I was celebrating my day with my closet friends in Jaipur _ “The Pink City” .It is 280 Km from Delhi by road and takes only 5 hours. Our journey started during the night after completing all the office work because the weekend already knocked the door. Reached our destination early in the morning and here the real fun begins.
Jaipur is the capital and the largest city of Rajasthan.
A view of Jaipur city from The Nahargarh Fort |
Founded by Maharaja Jai Singh , the ruler of Amber(now called Jaipur) after whom the city is named. “The Pink City” – It has its own history. It is said that Prince of Wales and Queen Victoria visited India on a tour.
To greet the guest visiting India in a special way, Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur painted the whole city pink in colour. Since then, the city is popularly known as “the Pink City”.

Apart from this one can find many exciting historical places to visit in Jaipur.
Everyone of us have studied in history about the Mughal rulers but once you visit Rajasthan you can see even the Rajputs’ used to rule in their own way and trust me history is one very interesting corner to go through because one increases the curiosity to know more and more about it.
The Jal Mahal |
A very famous saying from Rajasthan tourism
“Padharo Mahre Desh” means “Visit our Country”.
Just like the saying , Rajasthan
is full of its rich heritage.
Tourist spots are the one in Jaipur which
attracts everyone in an unique way.
The Hawa Mahal |
The City Palace ,Hawa Mahal , Jal Mahal , Jantar Mantar , Albert Hall Museum , Birla Mandir are some of the most popular places to visit when you are at Jaipur.
Amer Fort , Jaigarh Fort , Nahargarh Fort has its own history in itself.

Every tourist place in Jaipur
has a story behind.
Hey , wait !! How can I sign off without mentioning the most interesting part.
Yes , the Rajasthani Thali of course.
To taste the best Rajasthani thali
we visited the place named
“Chowki Dhani” – it is a concept
carried by capturing the vibrant
spirit of ensuring a proper
Rajasthani experience.
